Giving Zakat and Sadaqah through World Aid Network

We fund eye surgery, cancer treatment and emergency relief in Pakistan, Indonesia and Malaysia. We pay partner hospitals and vetted local relief partners directly and do not run our own hospitals. We also publish this free calculator and its guides.

Our charity registration in England and Wales is in progress, with application reference 5290505. An application reference is not a registered charity number. Our ICO registration, ZC156579, covers data protection and does not establish charity registration or Gift Aid eligibility.

You can mark a gift to eye surgery or cancer treatment as Zakat, and we record it as Zakat. Sadaqah can go to any of our causes. This site’s checkout cannot accept Fitrana, fidya or kaffarah, which have their own feeding requirements.

We do not issue Shariah rulings. If you are unsure whether a hospital payment for a named patient meets the approach you follow, read whether Zakat can fund medical treatment or ask a qualified scholar.

Which programme receives my gift, and can it take Zakat?

How are recipients documented?

What do running costs cover?

Are advertised costs estimates or full treatments?
