The quick answer

Your donation’s destination depends on the purpose selected and the organisation’s current programme terms. Check whether an amount is a contribution or a complete funded service, how restrictions are recorded and what reporting is available.

Medical programme estimates

Use the current eye-care and cancer programme descriptions. This site no longer claims the older £125 figure always buys a complete cataract operation or that £100 universally pays for a cancer session.

Administration and processing

Ask what the advertised 100% donation policy covers, including processing fees and overhead. Do not treat an unsupported headline as an independently verified account of every transfer.

Restricted giving

Check how Zakat and other restrictions are recorded, and what happens if a programme cannot use a gift as intended. Recipient eligibility, ownership and agency requirements matter alongside the charitable purpose.

Current status and reporting

The parent website reported Gift Aid unavailable and registration in progress when checked on 8 September 2026. For current information and reporting requests, consult World Aid Network’s status page and its contact channels.
